From the sheared fleece of heritage sheep breeds, I create objects for comfort and warmth: seat cushions, sheepskins, rugs, wall hangings. Unique woolen pieces. Gifts of nature.
In this process, the sheared side of the wool fleece is felted, creating a leather-free product, and the sheep continue to graze alive in the pastures until the next shearing next year.

I produce sustainable, vegetarian and ecologically manufactured products from the sheared wool of old and particularly resilient sheep breeds.
They are running here at Lake Schaalsee and grazing in nature reserves.
Old sheep breeds: Heidschnucken, Coburg Foxes, Pomeranian rough-wool sheep, but also crossbreeds – their wool protects them all year round in all kinds of weather. But in summer the fleece becomes a burden and has to be removed.
The special qualities of wool remain. Light and warm. Robust and durable. Naturally beautiful.
